"I expect to pass through life but once. If therefore, there is any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now, and not defer or neglect it, as I shall not pass this way again. " William Penn

Chartered in October 1972, the Warrandyte Lions Club maintains membership of local men & women of good standing in the community. Operating  Lions Opportunity Shop, the Warrandyte Lions provide services to the local community through extensive volunteer efforts.  Funds raised by the Opportunity Shop allow the club to support many charitable causes, sponsor local community groups and national and international ventures.

THE LIONS CREED:

LCI_emblem_2color_web.png

He achieves success:

Who lives well, laughs often and loves much, gains the respect of
intelligent people and the love of little children.

Who fills their niche and accomplishes their task whether by an
improved flower, a perfect poem or a rescued soul.

Whose life is an inspiration and memory a benediction.

He is a Lion.
